MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player within his part of the Latin mainstream. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. His debut album ADN was made available in 2017 by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. He worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He next year, came out with his second album, the chart-topping Dopamina. Later in 2021, he performed in a duet with TINI on her streaming hit track Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a music-oriented environment because both his mother and younger brother are musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music was a necessity. While a boy was in school, he took saxophone and guitar. At first, he wanted to become a vet, but after his brother Julian convinced to him take singing lessons from an Cuban singer, he altered his goals for his future career.
